If I had one word to describe Chanelle Sladics it would be motivation.  However, that’s not really fair because there are so many other words I could use as well, loving, kind, generous, outgoing, strong, beautiful, positive.  Ok, enough of that, read on to find out more about this kick butt boarder babe.

Chanelle’s full name is Chanelle Libby Sladics, False, my middle name is Ruth, it was my grandma?s name, its been past down for generations, which is special, traditional and fabulous, but clearly outdated…love you grandma, your beautiul!

Chanelle’s nickname is Chanequa, True this is one of my nicknames..

Chanelle also responds to the name Gypsy Princess, False, but partially True- Gypsy Queen, but princess too…

Chanelle has been called a “triple threat” because she surfs, skates and snowboards.  True- heck yes!!! Obsessed

Chanelle loves to high mark on her snowmobile, NOT SURE, I love to do many things on my snowmobile, but unfortunately don?t know the lingo yet, or what that means…I should google it, but am feeling lazy.

Chanelle lived in Breckenridge, Colorado this winter, Hell Yes! My second season based there, and I absolutely love the mountains, people, town….all of the above

I just can’t seem to get enough of this place.  Today Celia Miller and Chad Otterstrom took Colleen Quigley, Caroline Onzik, Terri Mayrer and I to a sweet jump.  It was sunny and the jump had hella pop.  Celia did a backside 3 and a frontside 3.  She is such a ripper.  Terri sent it with so much speed she pretty much cleared the landing which wasn’t that sweet for her back.

Bev Vuilleumier, has a difficult name to spell, but is an easy person to like.  She is pretty much always stoked, unless her sled just caught on fire.  That might put a damper on like 30 minutes of her day, just a few short hours later, she looks like this.

Bev grew up near Lake Tahoe. False, I grew up in the BAY area, then moved to a small town outside of Tahoe….currently live there now for the past 31/2 years.

Friday morning I departed Portland, Oregon for a sweet solo road trip. My destination? Breckenridge Colorado.  As I rolled out of town I decided that I’d play a game of counting on my journey. Here are the results,

Kimmy Fasani is awesome.  With a smile constantly plastered on her face, she is one of the most positive people I know.  This season she has been filming for a women’s shred movie called STANCE, to be released in Fall of 2009.  Until then, here is a peek into the life of Kimmy Fasni.

Kimmy was raised in New York City: False, but I would love to live in that amazing city for a couple months.

Kimmy first time snowboarding was at age 19: False, I started snowboarding when I was 7 years old but ski raced until I was 12. I changed my focus to snowboarding when I was 15 years old.

Kimmy has a cool mom:  True, my mom is one of a kind and has always been so supportive of anything I want to do.

Kimmy has a hot boyfriend named Brad Pitt: True, my boyfriend is HOT, but his name is Chris Benchetler and he is a professional skier.

Kimmy’s favorite place to ride is Mammoth: True! I also really like riding the park at Keystone in Colorado.

Kimmy’s favorite trick is a front flip: False, I can’t do a front flip on a snowboard.

Kimmy rips on a snowmobile: True! haha. I am trying to get my skills up so I can keep up with everyone.

Kimmy loves to watch Gossip Girl: TRUE!! GG is the best!

Kimmy’s favorite band is the Jackson 5: False, I do like their music but I listen to a little bit of everything including; Lil Wayne, Madonna, Tupac, M.I.A., Britney Spears, and so much more.

KImmy designed a DC board called the BFF: Partially True, I helped design the flex of the board and gave them feedback about graphics.

BFF stands for Berry Frosty Freeze: False, BFF can stand for what ever you want… Best Friends Forever! hehe.

Kimmy has a Bachelor of Science in Radness: True. Studied hard to be Rad and I do have a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from University of Phoenix Online.

Kimmy’s favorite person to travel with is M.I.A: False, my puppy Reese is the best travel partner.

Kimmy loves going to Alaska: False, I have never been but I hope that one day I am good enough to shred some lines in Alaska.

Kimmy likes the beach: True, I love being on the beach. I am going to Thailand in July. So excited!

When Kimmy’s not snowboarding you might find her ripping in the Brothers Skatepark: False, I am no good at skating but I may be at Brothers Skatepark watching Lyn-z Adams Hawkins rip it up.

I just got home from a trip with Alexis Watie.  We were in Austria where we went snowboarding and ate a lot of chocolate.  It was fun.  Here are a couple other things that you might like to know about Alexis, who also goes by Lexi.
